The Fleet is uniquely situated on the banks of the River Avon less than 2 miles from Junction

8 on the M5 ( 1 mile up the M50 to junction 1 and then through the village of Twyning

to the river) .We offer a convenient and original stopping point for your coach party to enjoy

a short coffee break, snack or more substantial meal in one of our individually designed

rooms or outside on the terraces.

 

By the river

Entrance to The Fleet is on level ground and the building itself combines the charm of a 15th

century Inn with modern facilities and pleasant eating areas. Outside there are spacious terraces

protected by Jumbrellas where our guests can sit and be protected from the sun (and

rain) and watch life on the river go by. This will normally include boats of all kinds, fishermen,

swans, ducks, moorhens and in particularly hot times the odd swimmer, or two.

 

Family run

John and Jackie Bishop own The Fleet and are delighted that more and more coach operators

are discovering The Fleet and are choosing to take advantage of their hospitality. Our

staff are friendly and polite, and our food and drink enjoy an enviable reputation for high

quality throughout the county.

 

Catering

As we are an independently owned business we are very flexible in our catering arrangements,

and can provide anything from tea and coffee to breakfasts, snacks, cream teas , one

course, 2 course or 3 course meals, all year round. Our usual times of operating are 9am

until 11pm. Meals need to be pre-booked with 48 hours notice. For a drinks stop a phone call

on the day to check for availability would be appreciated.

 

Capacity

We can seat 150 guests within the pub and 250 outside. Peak times are weekends and sunny

Days.
