Our Food
John, Jackie & the team would like to welcome you to our friendly establishment where we try to match our excellent food with pleasant and efficient service. As well as the ‘tried and tested’ we have introduced several new dishes which we hope you will enjoy. Our Head Chef, Richard Rowe and his team share our passion for serving good food, using only fresh local produce wherever possible. We serve generous portions but we recommend you keep a little space for one of our delicious “indulgences” or our local cheeseboard.
Our kitchen operates daily from 12 noon until 2.30 pm and opens again from 6pm until 9.00 pm (9.30 Fri and Sat). As all our food is cooked to order there may be a delay during busy times.
A selection of wines from some of the premier producing regions of the world is available to complement your meal. Our “Bishops Choice” House wines are available as whites in dry, medium or sweet and in red or rosé. At just £10.95 per bottle, they are highly recommended by our customers.
