It is only 1 mile from junction 1 of the M50 and 2 miles from junction 8 of the M5. With so many interesting places to visit in the surrounding area, you will be delighted to find that our accommodation consists of an historic boathouse that has been converted into Riverside Accomodation, providing three rooms with motel style, en-suite, river view accommodation. The building is detached from the main pub and restaurant. On our doorsteps is the historic Tewkesbury Abbey which dates back to 1087, the present building dating back to 1102. You will also be in easy reach of the beautiful landscapes of the Cotswolds, the Forest of Dean and the Malvern Hills. For those of you who are interested, there are the gardens at Kiftsgate Court, Hidcote Manor, and the Westbury on Severn Dutch Water Gardens only a drive away. For the more technically minded, you might be interested in the Royal Worcester Pottery visitor centre, the Historic Gloucester Docks, the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway at Toddington, Winchcombe, or Cheltenham Race Course stations. The region is host to the Oliver Cromwell Jazz Festival at Upton upon Severn, this is usually held June each year. The Three Counties Agricultural Society, which is based at Malvern, organises several events including the famous Three Counties Agricultural Show usually held in June.
